Under the requirements of our incorporation papers, JGS Toronto is required to have at least three Directors and no more than 10. The bylaws state that the Board have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 15 directors.
The three Directors are the President, Treasurer and Secretary. Among the other Directors are one or more Vice-Presidents. Other officers, agents or delegates may be appointed who may carry out work on behalf of the directors. From the Directors the Board designates 4 officers, President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer
Our Board of Directors consists of four named positions, namely President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary; and up to six Directors - each with a specific responsibility as noted below.
Elections are held annually at the General Meeting in December.
