2012-01-06 Kentucky SB 54 was introduced on January 3, 2012 by Senator Dennis Parrett (D). If enacted the bill would restrict access to marriage and divorce records if the marriage or divorce occurred within the past 70 years. Currently, there are no restrictions on access to marriage and divorce records. SB 54 also limits who may access vital records. The bill was referred to the Senate Health and Welfare Committee. No hearings have been set at the time of this notice.
