Founded in 1973, the Archives of the Jewish Community of Ontario has been actively collecting and preserving material recording the history of the Jews of this province. The collection includes manuscript and printed documents of Jewish organizations, including minutes, correspondence, publications, financial and cemetery records, personal papers, diaries, invitations, posters, newspapers, and sound and video recordings. The 700-volume book collection covers every aspect of Jewish life in Canada. The material is stored in the basement of the Lipa Green Building.
