Dr. Paul Sadowski is Professor Emeritus and former chair of the Dept. of Medical and Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto. He is an amateur musician and plays the cello in the Koffler Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Jacques Israelievitch. The Sadowski family has been in Canada since the 1880s, one branch beginning in Massey, northern Ontario and another in Lethbridge, Alberta. The majority of the Alberta family ended up in California and changed their name to Gardner, a translation of Sadowski. Paul will be speaking about finding a family member of the Alberta/California branch at the "June 2011 Breakthrough" meeting. Rhea Sadowski was a distinguished pianist during a pivotal period in recorded music. |
