Lil Blume is a teacher, writer, and workshop leader living in Toronto. She presented this workshop at the 2009 Limmud Festival in Toronto and has led family stories workshops for JCCs, shuls, and festivals in Hamilton, Edmonton, Victoria, and Vancouver. In a story published in Parchment: The Journal of Contemporary Canadian Jewish Writing, Lil explored her family's chess-playing across four generations. Lil also teaches communication workshops in industrial, health care, and educational environments on both Canadian coasts and many places in between.
