Vienna, Budapest and Prague: Three Great Jewish Communities

This Power Point presentation, which will include pictures, charts and maps, will focus on three of the most important Jewish communities of Central Europe. It is no accident that all three were part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and as such there were many similarities, but also significant differences. The history of the three communities will be discussed from the early modern age to the present, as well as the availability of genealogical, historical and other materials in print and on the internet.
